What techniques are likely to come into prominence in the next five years in your field?

AI-assisted clinical decision making, remote monitoring, gene therapy… There has been so much active research into these three areas, and many groups have made important advances over the past few years. I believe over the next five years, we will see further maturation of these techniques and some will become ready to be incorporated into mainstream practice.
