Johan Blanckaert

Johan Blanckaert is a surgeon with an appreciation of beauty. He co-owns an art gallery, Emergent, in Veurne, Belgium and spends his spare time at art and cultural events. He is the Director of the Eye and Refractive Center in Iper, Belgium, a Consultant Ophthalmologist at UZ Leuven and the current President of BBO-UPBMO, the Belgian Professional Union of Medical Specialists in Ophthalmology and Ocular Surgery.
